Super Street Fighter IV Ultra Combo Finish HD Remix Plus

I must say even I am suprised the previous post is from 2008, I read the title May 12th and thought oh guess I have only been off this a few months. Well I can throw that out the window! More than a year since my last post and I’m in a different part of my life, I’ve graduated from community college with my associates degree and now am actually at Rutgers University.

I’m also in a completely different major jumping from Communications to English… ok maybe not completely different as my goal is the same. Become a journalist or an author, and stay the hell away from newspapers as they rot away.

But your here for the gaming and I can say that i’ve played a lot of amazing titles since my last post and as I type this i’m realizing what killed this blog a site called The Backloggery where you keep track of what games you’ve beaten, completed or need to finish. I can’t think of anything else on this front so let me briefly talk about something on my mind, Street Fighter IV.

Capcom has decided to release a new $60 version of Street Fighter IV with a bunch of new characters, some new ultra specials, and the classic bonus rounds found in Street Fighter II. So am I againist this? Actually not really, but I don’t think i’ll buy either. It may be a new 1000 Gamerscore i’ll never ever get, and have characters I loved from Street Fighter Alpha but I didn’t even buy the regular Street Fighter IV until it hit $20. Is this release worth it to the obsessed or those that never got around to it before? Yeah it is but for the dabber in Street Fighter like myself this is maybe a rental at best unless this also drops to $20 then we can talk Capcom.

What Has my Interest in May Releases

Nintendo DS
Drone Tactics:To me this Strategy game seems worth at least trying, I don’t have great hopes for it. I never really do for this genre but I am occasionally suprised (FF Tactics, Omnimusha Tactics, Fire Emblem).

Super Dodgeball Brawlers:This is the meat of the DS releases, the third game in a series. The first being with the NES, the second launching with the GBA and the third coming now. This series must have the most space in between sequels. What it is…it really is just a simple whacky dodgeball title.

Playstation 2
Chaos Wars:Not critically reviewed in Japan but any game that can be a mashed potato of video game series in a strategy rpg has to at least be tried.

Xbox 360
Iron Man:On Multi platform releases I try to go 360 as I’m an achievement whore, aside from that the game looks to be the first decent Iron Man game ever released.

Bionic Commando Rearmed:I’m still more excited for this title than the big 3d one Capcom is making, what this is a remake of the original NES game.

If I had a Wii…
Boom Blox:This game has caught my eye for a while, and that really is all it will as the above line says it all. Steven Speilberg’s first game should actually get positive reviews.

If I had a PS3...I’d have nothing to look forward too!

R Type Command:I’ll be honest I have 0% interest in the game but have you seen the preorder bonus?!
