StingX2’s Gaming Madness

#806 The World End’s With You

April 22nd

Tomorrow is Persona 3 FES’ release :D , I bought Lego Star Wars 2 The Original Trilogy for 360 off half yesterday so that’ll be here in a week or two.

Half Life 2:I wish I had a screenshot of this but I finally made the jump in the chapter Water Hazard. It was then I followed a black helicopter, ran over some storm trooper look alikes and hit a dead end. I then backtracked a few steps and found a warehouse, inside were a lot of storm troopers. I was happy all my Team Fortress 2 time was finally paying off as I finally could use the guns pretty well. Near the exit to this warehouse I was greeted by annoying drones which I shot down.

Oh got to mention I picked up my first grenades which I used accidently blowing myself up not once but three times. When I got to the back of the warehouse there was a crank needed to lift the wall impeeding my watercraft progress, unfortunately it was broken. So I stopped here.

Banjo Kazooie:Bubble Gloop Swamp is done, and its off to this fine level

Freezezy Peak, my favorite level in the entire game…well at least up to mad monster I’ve never been to Rusty Bucket Bay or Click Clock Wood.

1pm:and that wraps that up

2:37PM I’ve recently started Halo (behind the times much?) and while I don’t mind aspects of it. Its pretty dull, and when you get control of the Wart Hog its pretty much hopeless. You drive this by pressure on the left joystick and turn with the camera designated right joystick. So unless you’re moving in a straight line its hopeless, and even then you can wildly turn to your doom.

Meet my nemesis (forgive my digital camera… it tries)

That bridge has killed me so many times it isn’t funny. Driving the warthog is a serious serious pain.

4:18Pm I’m enjoying Suikoden so far, dungeons are super super short and leveling really doesn’t matter like I was told as they flow like water. I stopped when I got this party member…

7:09PM Some World End’s With You took place before this but its such a hassel to screenshot my DS especially with a fast paced game like that. Also the spoilers are so plentiful. So back to Banjo Kazooie I go and my next stop is this place

Gobi’s Valley. Which if memory serves has a lot of annoying mummies, annoying quicksand, and seizure vision graphics.

  1. Banjo-Kazooie’s easily one of my favorite Nintendo 64 games ever made. Click Clock Wood is the best level though, hope you enjoy it! :D (Good luck with Rusty Bucket Bay, that was my least favorite level in the whole game >_<).

Half-Life 2 is a blast. I beat it on X-Box, but seriously contemplate replaying it on 360.

The entire Halo trilogy is overrated to hell and back (and this is coming from someone who owns and has finished all 3). At least you’re playing the first one, which I consider to be the best of the three.

And Suikoden’s a classic. The first, second, and fifth ones in the series are the best.
